Youtube Favorites - British Folks
As I mentioned in this post I turned into a huge youtube addict! No day goes by without me watching vlogs, hauls, tags or anything like that. that's why I thought I'd kick this week of with my youtube favorites. Since there are lots of them I'm splitting them into different categories.
let's start with our dear british folks:
fleurdeforce
fleur is such a lovely girl and her three doggies are sooo adorable! she and her husband mike live in a super nice house with a huge garden, which I find great for the dogs. Fleur's very down to earth, warm-hearted, honest and funny.
I'm very much into her vlogs! She did vlogtober (somewhat of a FMA (follow me around)and vlogmas and I watched all the videos!! oh and don't forget to check out her wedding video it's the best I have ever seen! no kidding!
She and mike (her hubby) also have a cooking channel which I find very cool since I'm instantly in love with people who love food as much as I do. So what not to love about her?!
viviannadoesmakeup
anna is a what I call a beauty guru. she's way ahead of everyone else on the beauty stuff and she's to blame for my newly discovered beauty/cosmetic product obsession. shame on you anna! ;) I also enjoy reading her blog. She's friends with Lily Pebbles who you might already know since she's a youtuber too. I love that they team up sometimes and make videos together!
zoella
zoe is a petite person with lots of super soft and silky hair (at least that what they look like) and is super goofy. I always have a good laugh while watching her videos. she just launch her own beauty line which is incredible giving she's only 24 years old.
lisa eldridge
master of makeup! lisa seems a bit cold and distant at first but I feel like the more I watch her tutorials the more I like her. she's so professional and hell of a talent (excuse my language). she makes things seems so easy and effortless I can't get enough! oh, and if you like alexa chung - and who wouldn't like her! - you definitely should watch this.
I also love love love funforlouis! Travel vlogs are next to beauty the best!

H&M Jewelry
Aren't these the most beautiful?! I didn't know h&m would make such nice jewelry, did you? the pastel colors are adorable and the quality actually is very good. Unfortunately, I can't remember how much I spent on these but it can't be much. I first thought they might be hard to combine but even with a white tee and wripped jeans they make a staple!

Hair Care - Lush
Are you all still in that mood where you're thinking of things you want to change in 2015? I am. I actually already started to change some things in 2014. What I'm talking about is my hair care routine. I've been using organic shampoo and conditioner since october 2014. You can really see and feel the difference. I know that Lush still uses sulfates but what really is not good for your hair are silicones and they are staying away from those, which is great. I know we all like this silky feeling when we are running our fingers through our soaking wet hair under the shower but silicones are not doing our hair any good. I'm not a pro but what I learned in the short time I worked as a hairstylist is that our hair cannot breath when it's packed with stuff. So rather than having my hair suffering from breakage I give them..right, a break! As silly as this may sounds to you, I let them be and do whatever they wanted in the first month of using Lush products. They felt and looked funny at first, but now my hair is healthier than ever! I only have to wash them twice a week - okay to be completely honest with you I'm washing them once a week. Isn't that incredible?! And it's not like I'm walking around with greasy hair or anything. They are very soft, silky and healthy and stay nice for days! Of course it depense on the season but for now I'm good with washing them twice a week max. I'm currently using Lush's Big shampoo and the RETREAT conditioner.
BIG
I love the smell of the sea salt which reminds me of california, where I used to live quite close to the ocean. Although, I found it weird to put sea salt in my hair at first, I fell for it within the second time using it. It deeply cleans your hair from all the dirt and leaves your hair soft and voluminous.
RETREAD
I apply the creamy, almost milky, conditioner to the length and let the cantaloup work its magic. No need for brushing or combing, really. Your not doing your hair any good if you do so anyway. At least not when it's soaking wet. So stay away from the brush or the comb and get to the other stuff, like washing your body or shaving those legs. After only 2-3 minutes your good to go and clear your hair with lukewarm water. Et voilà, no more tangles in that now shiney and super silky hair, right?!
I also tried Daddy-O and ROOTS but "BIG" still works best for me. During this winter season I couldn't live without The Olive Branch shower gel. Mhh..that stuff smells uh-mazing!!

Happy New Year 2015
Wow! It's been like what? mid-2014 since my last post...oops! Surely not nominated for most frequent blogger, huh?! ;) Anyway, I woulnd't miss out on wishing you guys a
xHAPPY NEW YEAR
x
There
has been lots, though not really interesting things going on in my
life. First of all I'd like to tell you how I spend most of my evenings
and that's either reading a book, watching youtube videos (tons of them!
Seriousely guys, I feel like I've seen them ALL) and going to bed
early - not during the holidays of course! I partied all night every night. No wonder I didn't think of posting something, you would have
been bored to death and there wouldn't have been only me (and my roomie)
who would have known how much of a drag I am! Well, now you know
anyway. Good job Nissy...
Okay but now that it's a new year I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get back on track and blog more often - which means I planning on uploading a blog post every sunday. Think of it as a new years resolution - and let's hope it won't just last a month like they usually do. As I am a nice person - another new years resolution of mine: being a nice, happy, smiling person - I want to give you something - wow and here it is, my 3rd one: giving. It's nothing big, but it's from me to you and it is....a calendar for 2015!
I really hope you like it. It's simple but that's what I want to go for in 2015: simplicity. Less of everything and keeping things simple in any way possible.
What are your resolutions for 2015?
