Taking A Break
Instead of just not posting anything, I decided to explain to you WHY
I’m not posting anything. Well, my life is a mess at this time. Since I’ve been
14 years old my biggest dream was to go America and life there for a while. Now
I’ve already spent 6 month in California and even though I clearly miss some
things from home (eg. my
family, friends, puppy, normal toilet paper, my washing machine, my closet,
some kinds of food ect.) I’m totally in love with this state, the people, the
weather, the opportunities and the whole experience.
I’ve been doing a preparation course for the Cambridge exam for 2 weeks
now and I have still 10 to go. It’s pretty stressful and I feel like I’m doing
nothing but studying. Actually that’s not true. I’m thinking a lot about my future.
I’d quit my job before I came here and I thought I would know what I want to do
after my stay. Unfortunately I have not a plan what to do with my life!
I’m a person who likes plans. I like to plan my day (not every step but eg. what have to be done until the
end of the day), I like to plan my
vacation (what I want
to see, where I can find it, what else could be interesting), I like to have a
plan for my life. That doesn’t mean that I can’t be spontaneous (remember the tattoo on my left ring finger?;)) but it means that
I’m organized – and I like that quality.
Since my life is whether organized than planned, I need some more time
to figure out what I want to achieve; what I aim for. I don’t even know what I
really want to represent with my blog – obviously me but who is me? What am I
interested in? What do I want to share with you guys?
Maybe
the better question is: What do you want to see from me?
What I actually wanted to say is that I’m taking a break from
this blog – from NissyBunique. But I’m going to be back and then
I’ll know who I am, what I want and I’m pretty sure that you’re going to enjoy
it ;)
In between, I have another blog, where I’m sharing my travel experience
with my family and friends. Maybe you like it, so check it out here:
It’s much more personal…
We'll see what 2013 brings...so don't forget me ;)

New Life In Santa Barbara
Hi lovies,
I just realized that I'm a horrible blogger!! I'm so sorry for the missing posts, it's just so much going on in my life right now! I moved to Santa Barbara last weekend and it took me a forever to pack everything in my suitcases! I simply shopped too much the last few month!!
So I left my friends in LA to start a new life (well for 3 month) here. Everything is good so far and I already met some awesome people! I'm sure I'm going to have a lot of fun!
The bad news are: I don't have WiFi at my apt =( So I can't promise to post more but I'm really trying hard!
Here are some of my impressions of Santa Barbara:

ShoeDazzle
Even though I really should start to take care of how much and on what I spend my money, I just couldn't resist those beauties! I I accidentally came across the website of ShoeDazzle, which is amazing (not only because the prices are incredible)! Did you know ShoeDazzle before? I just ordered Sophia, Wendy and Salcha =) Can't wait for my goodies! What do you think about them?
And guys, I know I'm a shopaholic! But they say " A fault confessed is half redressed". I'm trying hard ;)

MAC Cosmetics
Acutally I just wanted to get a lipstick. Those who read my blog regularly already know that of course I ended up with some more goodies than just a lipstick ;)
My natural lip color is already redish (bright red/dark rose). But since I just wear brown eyeliner during the day (black when I'm going out), I thought it would be fun to add a little more color.
I felt in love with the MAC Cremesheen Crosswires. The color is not too loud (the lipstick looks redder on the picture than it acutally is) and perfect for day time. As mentioned before I not only bought the lipstick but also powder and blush (both MAC as well). Normally I just apply Clinique's City Block Sheer (SPF 25 or 40) and that's it but it feels nice to wear some powder and a little blush when I'm going out. I feel comfortable and pretty. But the best thing about it: it's the first time my skin does'nt respond with hundreds of pimples - yayy!By the way, I don't use any mascara. The reason is simple, I just don't know how to apply it right. My lashes always stick together and after two minutes wearing my glasses I get pissed because they are full of mascara ^^
What do you think about MAC products? And which is your favorite?

Bowie Shorts
Want to wear something casual and comfortable but still look elegant and chic? Bowie shorts are both!! I found those beautiful kinds at Maurie & Eve.
Selected pieces are also available at Nasty Gal.

Something Plain And A Little Glimmer
Lately, I developed my obsession for necklaces. I've already bought six here in California ;) They make every plain shirt to something special. I got 1-4 from Francesca's Collection and the other ones in 5 from Forever21 (seen here & here).
What do you think about the statement necklace?
PS:
Just for the record, I'm not spoiled or something like that. I worked
hard for my money and I pay for the stay in California + everything else
by my own. By the way, I'm a poor, jobless girl when I go home...but I've still got all I need (experience, freedom and my love ones) =)

If You Are Going To San Francisco
I spent this weekend with my LA girls in San Francisco. OMG the weather was just beautiful and everything else too! We didn't just do hardcore shopping (I've spent $600!! OMG never did such a stupid thing, but I love every single piece ;)), we've even biked to from Fisherman's Wharf to the Golden Gate Bridge. That was one of the best weekends here in California! I'm so thankful for my cool life (haha), my family, friends and for airplanes who bring me whereever I want to go ;)
Hope you all had a great weekend, lovies!
