Sunday Hike // Mount Rigi

When I was a teenager I used to spent my Sundays sleeping in, relaxing, binge watching TV and eating junk food all day. Now that I’m a little older I love to spend Sundays with my family. Since my mom and brother mostly have to work on Sundays my dad, Sisco (our dog) and I would meet up at my place and decide on where we would like to go for a hike or a walk.

This past Sunday the weather was phenomenal! We drove approximately 2 hours from Berne to Vitznau where we took the rack railroad up to the top. After visiting the peak of mount Rigi (1'798 meters above sea level) aka “queen of the mountains” as the locals like to call it, we walked down to the mid-station of the rack railroad. My dad's recently undergone surgery so we wouldn’t be able to hike as much as we normally would but we had lots of fun and enjoyed the panoramic views.

The B O M B (E R)

They are coming. They are coming fast.
Bomber jackets are all over social media and the online shopping sites. They look chic, cool and very "I'm a cool kid", if you know what I mean. I like my clothes not only stylish but also comfy. Don't they look comfy to you? Well they do to me. Especially the velvet looking one (5) seems extra cozy. The great thing about bombers is that they are light weighted but still quite wind resistant which is a huge plus if you experience spring in Switzerland or Middle Europe. AND they also come in longline which is great for people like me with a longer upper body.

I acutally was looking for a floral one for the extra spring-yness but I couldn't find one. Hit me up, if you stumble upon one, ok?
