Favorite Of The Month: October 2011

I don't know why, but somehow I still haven't discovered a swiss lifestyle or fashion blog that really convinced me. Anyway, the community isn't as great as in other countries. But in September, I checked out Kristina's blog Kayture after the Miss Switzerland contest. Of course, I immediately added Kayture to my Bloglovin favorites.

Kristina Bazan of Kayture is a student and fashion blogger from Switzerland. She's passionate about art, culture and style. So far I haven't seen any other swiss blog that is as cool as Kayture. One Or The Other

Here are a few goodies that you haven't seen yet. The ring is currently my favorite accessory. I bought the OPI nail polish about three weeks ago. By the way, yesterday I quickly go by the nail lacquer shelves. It's embarrassing but I'm really proud of myself. Well, for that I am stopped at the lipstick shelves ;). A bit of glitter for the gloomy day never hurts, right?

Glitter & Faux Fur

At the moment I'm really into glitter and faux fur. I see it everywhere. Topshop, Asos, Forever21 ect. it's all about glitter and outfits combined with faux fur on all main pages. Honestly, I would never wear real fur. But I am someone who accepts other opinions than mine too.  

Faux fur is a great alternative to real fur! What do you think of the glitter? and what's about fur?

Tried The Mixed Mani

Yesterday I couldn't walk past the shelf and had to buy this nail polish from Manhattan. I combined it with a darker nail polish, also of Manhattan, and tried the DIY of The Beauty Department. Unfortunately, I've waited not long enough and the nail varnish is merged together. Next time I'll wait 10-15 minutes.. ;)

I Couldn't Resist..

As I predicted in the post from Friday, I went shopping yesterday. You get a sneak peek in a tweet yesterday. Actually, I mainly just wanted to buy clothes for the cold days. But I couldn't resist and bought the blouses. Well, a warm sweater and cardigan I've bought too ;) Unfortunately, the battery of my SLR was dead, so I couldn't show you my goodies yesterday. So sorry for no posting!

Wherever It Takes Us

My friend (who was already in Spain with me) and I are tired of the daily grind and we decided to travel to a destination in Europe for three days in mid-november. We don't know exactly where the short trip takes us, but we are spontaneous and adventurous. We agreed that we decide just a few days before we leave. Thus we pay only 100 CHF (max. 160 CHF) for the whole flight. The hotel shouldn't be too expensive but clean and central. I'm very grateful for suggestions!

Shop Till You Drop

I've been waiting a few extra days before I published this post. You shall not think I'm a shoppaholic - my salary is too small anyway ;).  But I want no longer deny what I bought at Vero Moda.

• The shirt was a sale. I just have to buy it ;)

• The classic pants with the pleats are so cool. I think they're perfect for fall.  

• The black coat is indeed simple, but just right, if the outfit is already colorful and playful.

Nail Polish Obsession

I don't know a person who loves nail polish as I do. Every week I buy a new one and this is one of my favorites. It looks so girlish and naive. Just like I feel today..

My favorite nail lacquers are those of OPI, Astor and Manhattan. I would like to try the Essie, Chanel and Deborah Lippmann. Unfortunately I haven't yet found them in a store in Berne.

Free People

I love the World Wide Web. Every day I discover a new cool site that I add to my bookmarks. Yesterday it was the site of Free People. I immediately fell in love with the October Catalog (previews below). Unfortunately, the pieces are a bit expensive...
